The David A. LeBlanc Insurance Agency of Saugus joined with Saugus Federal Credit Union (SFCU) in early 2007. Under the ownership of SFCU, the agency name changed to Saugus Financial Insurance Agency, LLC.
As an affiliate of the Saugus Federal Credit Union, the agency is a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO). As a CUSO, the Saugus Financial Insurance Agency, LLC affords insureds the opportunity to benefit from the financial resources and support the credit union has to offer.
Established in 1993, the agency provides auto and home insurance to over 1,000 customer accounts, with The Premier and Travelers Insurance Company as its primary carriers. Saugus Financial Insurance Agency, LLC can also write insurance throughout the Commonwealth, with the ability to obtain state assigned safety insurance for commercial customers.
Before starting the agency in 1993, David LeBlanc was associated with John Hancock Life Insurance Agency for more than 30 years. A Saugus resident, LeBlanc is active in the Saugus Lions Club where he was the recipient of the Melvin Jones Award. Jeanne Grant of Saugus joined her father at the agency three years ago after 15 years in the travel industry as a travel agent.
